Automation Partners AI LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information in connection with our website and AI-powered lead generation services (“Service”). It also outlines your rights regarding your personal data. We abide by major data protection laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as well as anti-spam and communications laws like CAN-SPAM and TCP. By using our Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
We may collect several types of information, including:
Information You Provide to Us: When you create an account, contact us, or use our Service, you may provide personal information such as:
Contact Details: Your name, business name, email address, phone number, mailing address, job title, and other identifiers. For example, when signing up or filling out a form, you may provide your full name, company, email, and phone number (as outlined in our onboarding requirements)Automation Partners Ai.
Account Credentials: Username and password that you set for accessing our platform.
Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, we (or our payment processors) collect payment details such as credit card number or billing information.
Note: Payment information is processed via secure third-party payment gateways; we do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
Communications: Any information you send to us directly, such as emails, chat messages, or support inquiries, and their content.
Lead and Publicly Sourced Data: A core feature of our Service is providing data on business leads and contacts. We collect business-related personal information about individuals (lead profiles) from public sources and third-party data providers. This may include names, professional titles, company affiliations, work emails, phone numbers, industry, publicly available social media profile links, and other business contact details. Sources might include public websites, social networks, business directories, or licensed third-party databases. We gather and aggregate this information to deliver lead generation insights to our customers. Importantly, all such data is collected in an ethical manner from publicly available or consented sources, and Automation Partners AI does not claim ownership of this public data.
Automatically Collected Data (Usage and Device Information): When you interact with our website or app, we automatically collect certain data about your device and usage of the Service:
Usage Data: This includes log information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages or features you access, dates/times of access, and referring website. We may also track actions you take within the platform (e.g. login times, features used) for security, analytics, and product improvement.
Cookies & Similar Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to personalize your experience and analyze usage of our site. Cookies are small text files placed on your device. For example, we may use cookies to remember your login session, collect analytics about how users navigate the site, and to store your preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings and other tools (see Cookies and Tracking section below for more details).
Third-Party Data and Integrations: If you integrate our Service with third-party platforms or services, we may receive information from those systems. For instance, if you connect a CRM or an email account to our platform, we might receive data such as your contacts or email metadata in order to perform the integration. Likewise, if you use our API or a third-party signup (like OAuth through Google/LinkedIn), we collect information from those accounts as authorized by you. We also may receive marketing lead information from partners or referrals with your consent.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as social security numbers, financial account passwords, health or biometric data, etc.) or any information from individuals under 16 years of age (our Service is intended for business use by adults; see Children’s Privacy below).
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for various legitimate business purposes, including:
To Provide and Operate the Service: We use personal information to create and manage user accounts, provide our AI lead generation tools, and enable core platform functionalities. For example, we use your registration information to allow you to log in and use the lead generation features, and we use lead data to deliver relevant contact information and insights to you.
To Improve and Develop Our Services: We analyze usage data and feedback to understand how our Service is used and to improve its performance and features. This may include using aggregated usage patterns to optimize our AI algorithms, enhance our data accuracy, and develop new features. We may also use your information to personalize or customize your experience (such as recommending certain features or content).
To Communicate with You: We use contact information (email, phone) to send you service-related communications such as confirmations, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages. If you contact us with a question or support issue, we will use your contact info to respond. We may also send you promotional communications about new features, offers, or services, but you can opt out of marketing emails at any time (see Your Choices below). All marketing emails comply with CAN-SPAM requirements, including clear identification of the sender and an unsubscribe link.
For Compliance and Legal Purposes: We may process personal data as necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations. This includes using data to enforce our Terms and Conditions, to detect and prevent fraud, security incidents or other illegal activity, and to comply with governmental requests or lawful subpoenas. If you are using the Service to send communications (emails, calls, etc.), we may monitor compliance with our anti-spam and abuse policies (for example, ensuring an unsubscribe mechanism is present in emails) to uphold legal standards.
To Enable Integrations and Third-Party Services: Where you choose to integrate third-party applications (such as syncing data with a CRM or using an email sending provider through our platform), we use your information to facilitate those requests. For instance, if you direct us to push lead contact info to your CRM, we will use the data you’ve selected for that purpose.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, your information may be used and transferred as part of such a transaction as permitted by law and/or contract. We would ensure any successor entity honors the commitments in this Privacy Policy.
We will only use personal information in a manner that is compatible with and relevant for the purpose for which it was collected. If we need to use your personal data for an unrelated new purpose, we will notify you and, if required by law, seek your consent.
How We Share and Disclose Information
Automation Partners AI may share your information in the following circumstances:
With Service Providers: We employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“service providers”) - for example, cloud hosting providers, data storage services, email service providers, analytics companies, customer support tools, and payment processors. These third parties may have access to personal information as needed to perform tasks on our behalf (e.g., storing data on a secure server, sending out emails, processing payments) and are contractually obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes. We ensure that such providers implement appropriate data protection measures.
With Business Partners and Integrations: If you use third-party integrations or participate in co-marketing activities, we may share certain information with the third-party at your direction. For instance, if you sign up through a partner or referral link, we might share your sign-up information with that partner. Or if you choose to integrate with a CRM, we will send lead data you select into that CRM system. These parties will handle the information under their own privacy terms. We will not share your personal information with third parties for their own independent direct marketing purposes without your consent.
Within our Corporate Group: If Automation Partners AI is part of a group of related companies (subsidiaries, affiliates), we may share information with our corporate affiliates as necessary to operate the Service and provide support. All such sharing is subject to the same data security and privacy measures.
Disclosure of Lead Data to Customers: One of our Service’s primary functions is to provide business contact data (leads) to our subscriber customers. If you are an individual whose information is included in our lead database, be aware that your business contact information (name, job title, company, email, etc.) may be disclosed to our registered business users who are searching for leads in their sales and marketing efforts. We only share business-related information and do so under the premise that the users will use it for legitimate B2B purposes in compliance with applicable laws. We contractually require our customers to use this data responsibly and legally (see our Terms & Conditions on data use). If you wish to opt out of our lead database, see Your Rights and Choices below.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation (e.g., a subpoena, court order, or government request); (b) protect and defend our rights or property, or the rights, property, or safety of our users or others; (c) investigate and help prevent security threats, fraud, or other malicious activity; or (d) enforce our Terms and pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
In an Aggregate/De-Identified Form: We may aggregate or anonymize personal data so it can no longer be linked to any specific individual, and share that aggregated, non-identifiable information for analysis, improvement of our services, marketing, or other business purposes. For example, we might publish trends or statistics (e.g., total number of leads processed in a year, or average email open rates) that do not contain any personal identifiers.
We do not sell personal information to third parties for monetary consideration. However, the disclosure of lead contact data to our customers as part of our Service could be considered a “sale” or “share” under certain privacy laws (like CCPA), since it involves transferring personal data for the benefit of our business. We provide opt-out rights for individuals in those jurisdictions (see below).
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on our site and platform. This section explains our use of these technologies:
Types of Cookies:
We use:
Essential Cookies: These are necessary for our site to function, such as keeping you logged in or remembering items in a cart. Without these, certain features may not work.
Analytics and Performance Cookies: These cookies collect information about how users interact with our website (e.g., page visits, traffic sources) to help us improve our Service. For instance, we might use Google Analytics or a similar tool to understand usage patterns.
Functional Cookies: These remember your preferences and settings to provide enhanced features (e.g., remembering your language or region).
Advertising/Marketing Cookies: We currently do not host third-party ads on our platform, but if we run marketing campaigns, cookies may be used to track the effectiveness of ad campaigns or to deliver relevant content.
Cookie Consent: If you are in a jurisdiction that requires cookie consent (such as the EU/EEA), our website will present you with a cookie banner or other mechanism to obtain your consent for non-essential cookies. You can choose to allow or refuse those cookies. Continuing to use our site after being presented with the banner may be considered consent for the use of cookies as described.
Managing Cookies: You can manage or disable cookies at any time by adjusting your browser settings. You may also clear existing cookies from your browser. However, be aware that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our Service – for example, you might not be able to log in or certain features might not remember your preferences.
Do Not Track Signals: Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature. At this time, our website does not respond to DNT signals in a uniform way, due to lack of industry standard. We treat all user data consistently with this Privacy Policy.
In addition to cookies, we may use pixel tags (tiny graphic images) or web beacons in emails that track when those emails are opened or links clicked, to measure campaign effectiveness and improve communications.
Data Security
We take the security of your information seriously. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (e.g., SSL/TLS for our website), encryption of sensitive data at rest, firewalls and intrusion detection systems, access controls restricting personal data to authorized personnel, and regular security monitoring and assessments.
While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You share and transmit information at your own risk. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as outlined in this Policy, and to comply with legal obligations.
Account Information: If you have an account with us, we retain your account data while your account is active. If you deactivate your account or the account is terminated, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable time after closure, except where retention is required to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. For example, we may retain minimal information to prove the account was closed and to honor your requests (like ensuring we don’t contact you if you asked not to).
Lead Database: Information in our lead/contact database is updated periodically. We strive to keep data current. We will remove or suppress specific contact entries if we learn that the information is outdated or if an individual opts out of inclusion (see below). Otherwise, we may retain business contact details in our database as long as it serves our business clients and is permitted by law, given that it is often publicly sourced data.
Communications and Support: If you correspond with us, we may retain those communications for records (for example, emails or support tickets) as long as necessary to address your inquiry and as required for our legitimate business records.
Backups and Archives: Please note that residual copies of your personal information might not be immediately removed from our backup systems after deletion from our active systems. However, we will continue to protect any retained data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
International Data Transfers
Automation Partners AI is based in the United States. If you are located outside the United States and provide information to us, please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States (or other jurisdictions where our servers or offices are located). The data protection laws of the United States or these other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
However, we take steps to ensure that adequate safeguards are in place to protect your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. For example, if we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK to the U.S., we rely on approved mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses or compliance with frameworks like the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, as applicable. We also require that our service providers who handle EU/EEA personal data provide appropriate safeguards.
By using our Service or providing us with your information, you consent to the transfer of your personal data to the United States and other jurisdictions as described in this Policy.
Your Rights and Choices
We respect your rights regarding your personal information. Depending on your location and subject to applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights:
Access and Correction: You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to receive information about how we process it. You also have the right to request that we correct or update any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Deletion (Right to be Forgotten): You can ask us to delete your personal information. For example, if you have an account, you may delete certain information via your profile or request complete deletion by contacting us. If you are an individual whose contact details are in our lead database (and you are not a direct user of our Service), you can request removal of your information from our database. We will honor verifiable deletion requests and remove your data, except where we need to retain it for legitimate business or legal reasons (in which case we will inform you).
Opt-Out of Sales/Sharing of Data: If you are a California resident or are covered by similar laws, you have the right to opt out of the “sale” or sharing of your personal information. As noted, while we do not sell data for money, we may share business contact data with our customers. You can request to opt out of having your information included in our lead-sharing with customers. To exercise this, please contact us as described below (or use any provided “Do Not Sell My Info” link or mechanism on our website, if available). Once we process your opt-out, we will refrain from including your data in our Services provided to customers.
Objection and Restriction: You have the right to object to or ask us to restrict processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. For instance, you can object to our processing for direct marketing at any time, and we will stop using your data for marketing purposes. You may also object if you believe our processing is based on a legitimate interest that is not overridden by your rights.
Data Portability: Where applicable (e.g., under GDPR), you may have the right to receive a copy of certain personal information in a machine-readable format, or request that we transfer it to a third party of your choice.
Withdrawal of Consent: If we rely on your consent to process personal information, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. For example, if you consented to receive marketing emails, you can unsubscribe via the link in the email or by contacting us. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Non-Discrimination: If you exercise any of your privacy rights (such as opting out or requesting deletion), we will not discriminate against you or deny you services for doing so. California law (CCPA) specifically provides that consumers exercising their rights may not be treated differently (e.g., by being offered a different quality of service), except as permitted (for example, if a service or feature is tied to the data usage).
Exercising Your Rights: To exercise the rights above, please contact us at the email or mailing address provided in the Contact section of this Policy. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests (especially for access, deletion, or opt-out of sale requests) by asking for additional information. If you are making a request on behalf of someone else, we may require proof of authorization (e.g., a power of attorney or written consent). We will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframe required by law (for example, for CCPA usually within 45 days, for GDPR within one month, etc., with the possibility of extension if necessary).
Opt-Out of Marketing Communications: If you wish to stop receiving promotional emails or newsletters, you can opt out at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in those emails or contacting us. Even after you opt out of marketing, you may still receive transactional or account-related messages from us (such as account notifications or support responses), as those are not promotional.
Opt-Out of Database (for Non-Users): If you are not a direct user of Automation Partners AI but believe we have collected your business contact information in our lead database, and you do not want to be included, you have the right to opt out. Please email us with your details (name, email, company, etc. that you suspect is in our database) and we will remove your information from our lead database and suppress it from future collection. Additionally, if you received an unsolicited communication from one of our customers via our platform and wish not to be contacted, you can use the unsubscribe mechanism in that message and also notify us so we can ensure your contact info is flagged to avoid further outreach via our system.
GDPR Notice for EU/EEA/UK Individuals
If you are in the European Union, European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, our processing of your personal data is governed by the GDPR or UK GDPR. Under these laws, Automation Partners AI LLC is typically a “data controller” for the information you provide directly as a user, and also a data controller for the public lead data we collect (since we determine the purposes and means of processing that data).
Legal Bases: We rely on the following legal grounds to process your personal data:
Contract: We process data to provide the Service under our Terms of Service – for example, account data and lead data processing is necessary to perform our contract with you as a user.
Legitimate Interests: We process certain data as needed for our legitimate interests, provided those are not overridden by your rights. This may include improving our services, preventing fraud, securing our system, or sharing B2B contact data among our customers for business marketing (we balance this against individual privacy and provide opt-outs as required).
Consent: For sending marketing communications or for using certain cookies, we rely on your consent. Also, if we ever process any sensitive data (which we generally do not), it would be based on consent.
Legal Obligation: If we need to retain or disclose data to comply with a law or regulation, that processing is based on legal obligation.
Your rights under GDPR (access, correction, deletion, objection, etc.) are described in Your Rights above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a Data Protection Authority in your country if you believe we have infringed your privacy rights.
CCPA Notice for California Residents
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with the CCPA and to provide the required disclosures:
Categories of Personal Information Collected: In the past 12 months, we have collected identifiers (like name, email, phone), commercial information (purchase history of our services), internet activity (usage data via cookies), professional or employment-related information (job titles, business contact info in our lead database), and inferences drawn from the above. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CCPA (like SSN, driver’s license numbers, financial account, precise geolocation, etc.).
Categories of Sources: We collect personal info from: (a) you (the user) directly, (b) automatically via your use of the Service (cookies, etc.), (c) publicly available sources and third-party data suppliers for lead info, (d) third-party integrations and partners.
Business or Commercial Purpose for Collection: As described in “How We Use Your Information,” the purposes include providing our Service (which is a commercial purpose), improving it, communicating with users, and facilitating marketing by our customers (the lead data aspect), among other purposes.
Categories of Third Parties Shared With: We share personal info with service providers (cloud hosts, processors), with our business customers (lead data), and as required by law or business transfers.
Sale/Sharing of Personal Information: We do not sell personal information for money. However, under CCPA’s broad definitions, making available certain contact info to our customers could be deemed a “sale” or “sharing” (for cross-context behavioral advertising) of personal info. We have provided an opt-out mechanism for individuals to request that their info not be included in our database distributed to customers (see “Opt-Out of Sales/Sharing” above). We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Retention: We retain categories of personal information as outlined in our Data Retention section above – essentially for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or as required by law.
Your Rights: California residents have the right to know (access) the personal info we have about you, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion of your personal info, to opt-out of sale/sharing of personal info, and to not be retaliated against for exercising these rights. You may also request information about the personal info we have disclosed for a business purpose. To exercise these rights, follow the instructions in Your Rights and Choices. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes permitted by CCPA. You may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf, in which case we will need proof of the agent’s authority and your identity.
Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not directed to, nor intended for use by, children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you are under 16, do not use the Service or provide any information about yourself. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 16 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction), we will take steps to delete such information as soon as possible. If you believe we might have any information from a child under 16, please contact us so we can investigate and address it.
Updates to this Privacy Policy
We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy and, if appropriate, provide additional notice (such as on our website homepage or via email notification). We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
Your continued use of the Service after any modifications to this Privacy Policy indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
